Dr. Will Daniels
Postdoctoral fellow
Will’s website
wdanie16 at jhu.edu
Research interests:
Will previously worked on estimating methane emissions from oil and gas facilities. His current research focuses on the Orbiting Carbon Observatory 2 satellite.

Ao Chen
PhD student
achen152 at jhu.edu
Research interests:
Ao is interested in inverse modeling to better understand methane emissions. Prior to beginning at JHU, Ao was a masters student in Prof. Peter Kitanidis’ group at Stanford University.

Leyang Feng
PhD student
lfeng13 at jhu.edu
Research interests:
Leyang is studying methane emissions from the United States. He previously worked in greenhouse gas research at the Pacific Northwest National Lab, and he is currently developing a first project for his PhD.

Dylan Gaeta
PhD student
dgaeta at jhu.edu
Research interests:
Dylan is interested in urban greenhouse gas and air pollution emissions. He is also researching sulfuryl fluoride, a pesticide and greenhouse gas. Dylan began his PhD in Jan. 2020 and is originally from western New York.

Ziting Huang
PhD student
zhuang51 at jhu.edu
Research interests:
Ziting began her PhD at JHU in September 2021. She is interested in energy systems and greenhouse gas emissions from energy infrastructure. Prior to beginning her PhD, Ziting worked at the World Bank.

Kristan Morgan
PhD student
kmorga46 at jhu.edu
Research interests:
Kristan is interested in carbon dioxide sources and sinks across the tropics and the interplay with soil inundation. She is an expert in the OCO-2 satellite and has worked at NASA Goddard for over six years. She is continuing her work at Goddard while pursuing a PhD.

Mason Liu
PhD student
hanyumasonliu at gmail.com
Research interests:
Mason is interested in exploring NOAA observations of air pollutants, primarily from the oil and gas industries. He aims to understand more about the emissions of these pollutants and how those emissions have changed over times

Qiulun Li
PhD Student
qli88 at jhu.edu
Research interests:
Qiulun’s PhD is co-advised by Scot and by Dr. Kirsten Koehler at JHU. Qiulun is using network of low cost air quality and greenhouse gas sensors in Baltimore to understand how to improve air quality across the city. Before coming to JHU, Qiulun completed a masters at the Emory School of Public Health.

Millie Mi
Undergraduate
xmi2 at jh.edu
Research interests:
Millie is writing a synthesis paper examining greenhouse gas emissions inventories produced by cities across the US. Millie is interested in the areas of agreement and disagreement among these inventories and they could be improved in the future.
